This Mar bowl is a nod to a tropical still life painting. Here it’s easy to imagine flowers and fruit flowing from these handmade natural and black rattan vessels that have an urbane quality by the addition of a noir wrapping detail. In-fact, the ink-stained finish, like a class little black dress, finds its importance throughout the collection, allowing many pieces to hold both the place of formal and informal.
